Sat. April 26 is World Tai Chi and Qi Gong Day – Join us

Hello Everyone! Saturday, April 26th is World Tai Chi and Qi Gong Day! Having Tai Chi introduced into my life almost 20 years ago, I have been able to rebuild my body from its crippling ailments and health issues, become a better dance teacher from my understanding of how the body works and where its strengths and weaknesses come from, and discovered a wonderful gift to share with others. I am honored that the knowledge of Tai Chi and Qi Gong have been shared with me, and I am grateful for the gifts of pain free movement and health I have found for my body. We will be celebrating this special World day in Port Hawkesbury at the Civic Center Dance studio from 12:45 – 3:45. Three incredible hours of learning and sharing with each other as we join the rest of the world in bringing the healing energy to others. If you have ever wanted to try something like Tai Chi or Qi Gong before, but have been too shy or didn’t have a teacher in your area, come and join us. No experience is necessary for this special celebration. Just bring a willingness to learn, a water bottle and something easy to move in. If you get cold feet, bring an extra pair of socks (woollies work the best), and layers that can be removed as the circulatory system is fired up. This is a day to transform, and a day to make a change for you and your health. Please share this invitation with others, and I look forward to sharing with you on Saturday, April 26th. There is no charge for this event, a smile and a willingness to share and honor your body is all that is needed!

If you are looking for a class in your area, my schedule is as follows:

Monday: Belle Cote Community Hall 10 – 11:30 am year round
Tuesday: Judique Community Hall 6:30 – 8 pm year round
Thursday: Skye Glen Hall 12:45 – 2:15 pm This session runs until the end of May
Thursday: St Joseph’s Renewal Center – Mabou 7:00 – 8:30 pm year round

And, for something a little jazzy – Introduction to Lyrical Jazz in Judique starting Friday April 25th from 7 – 8:30 pm for 4 weeks. This will include similar concepts about Whole Body Movement and rebuilding movement patterns, as well as some very special dance steps to give the gift of movement and health to your body.

Health and Happiness,
