Dance in Port Hawkesbury begins February 3rd!

It feels good to make this announcement and to be able to put a little spring in all of our steps as we move into the new year. There are two class options to choose from…classes in the dance studio at the Civic Center.

Dance Club 2 (9 yrs and up)  Wed 4:45 – 6:00 pm

Combining the elements of jazz, lyrical, ballet and rhythm dynamics, this class will be developing the basics of jazz and ballet technique including turns, jumps and kicks through combinations of steps and technical exercises.  No experience necessary, but ballet slippers or jazz shoes recommended, as well as shorts or leggings and t-shirt, or bodysuit and tights. Cost:  $170 for 12 weeks plus tax, Feb 3, 10, 17, 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, April 7, 14, 21.  Should there be challenges with facility closures or inclement weather, the classes will be online.
