Therapeutic Touch for Families

Have you every wanted to know how to help your little one with cuts and scrapes? An upsetting event? Perhaps you have someone in the family who doesn’t sleep well. Or gets an upset tummy? This course is an exploration into the tools that make Therapeutic Touch so successful for the nurses and the patients they care for. Developed by Dr. Delores Kreiger (a nurse) and Dora Kunz, this program has celebrated almost 50 years of successes in providing tools for families to share with each other. We will play with centering and grounding, how to sense energy, creating healing toys, special ways to help with teething, headaches, injury, bruises, pinched fingers and preparing for bedtime.

A 4 hour course that is being offered virtually in this time of isolation, we will be involved in learning, playing and being involved in helping each other to feel well and to heal easily. This is not a replacement for medical advice or medical treatment, but a way to complement those tools with your own love and attention.

We are offering this inaugural course to 8 families on Easter Monday and we would love for you to join us too. Children who can participate are welcome to join us as we play with the tools. If they need to play or color beside us as we go through the tools, that is ok too!
