My Little Black Book of Qi: Qi YINtegration Set 1

Two days and counting for the launch of my next book.

It is all your perspective! Ten years ago I created my first vision board. On that board was a section in the bottom right corner that said “books” and it had several pictures of books. At the time I thought I was creating one book and I would print several copies. Never in a million years would I have dreamt that I would continue to publish! In 2006 I created “Stacey on the Keyboard” for dancers and I shared that year of publishing with my Mom and my sister, Charlene. We were a force of incredible imagination, creativity and opportunity. It was a very proud time to share with my special peeps! For my 40th Birthday we celebrated Stacey with a Big Party and mice treats made by Sharon Davis. It was very special. From there, educational manuals and teaching tools continued to grow and expand for dance teachers, into “Peter on the Drums”.

In 2012 I began to collect my tools of healing and it created “My Little Black Book of Energy”. “The Feet First System” was initially launched in this book and continues to grow and is waiting for a voice in a book all its own in the near future. But, in 2015, “Qi YINtegration” was born. My students led me through their challenges with health and healing and together we took the simple tools of the Seated form of Tai Chi into a link with Muscle Testing from Specialized Kinesiology and created a set of exercises that could energize and shift the body to open up and feel free. We played with Sitting, Standing, Breathing, Turning, and Walking up and down the stairs. It was a fantastic voyage of rediscovery in an area we all think we are very knowledgeable in.

And, now? My perspective has changed. I realize that health is at our fingertips. We have the ability to change anything if we decide to. We have the use of muscle testing to help us determine what is a priority and where we should focus. Simple, profound and effective! Qi YINtegration Set 1 is a gift from my students, a gift from the teachers who have gone before me, a gift from our bodies as we realize more about the human potential and the infinite possibility of being a physical body with emotions and experience and passion.

Wednesday is the formal launch of Set 1 of Qi YINtegration on my website: www.dancedebut.com. Please join me for the events of the day, and please consider sharing the materials to anyone who needs a little nudge to take back their health. It is a perspective that breaks out of the mold that we are not responsible for our health, but the medical profession is. Our health is our responsibility. It is our action. It is our choices. It is our reason for being human. See you for a few simple techniques to share on Wednesday.

And, to my students! Thank you, thank you, thank you for your incredible generosity to explore, to play and to take risks to find out more about yourself and the journey we share in health and wellness together. Carpe Diem!
