Emotional Bias, real or just a symptom?

Published on Medium.com this morning, check out this article.

Tai Chi is a subtle exercise form that moves us beyond “staying fit”.

Here is a sneak peek at the full article released on medium.

Tai Chi was a part of my dissertation and thesis explorations, and I am in awe at the power of the tools that are so simple within Tai Chi.  They create balance and flow within minutes of engaging in an activity, and the lasting effects can be for hours.  When I am having trouble with a monkey mind, or being judgmental, or solving a problem, it is often due to the stress being experienced by my body.  I love to know that I can change that on my own in minutes.

If you have not participated in a class with Dr. Michelle yet, consider her programs in-person and online.

Tai Chi Cape Breton is a member based group that Michelle volunteers to instruct for:

Thursday evenings at the Creignish Hall from 6:30 – 8 pm.

Monday mornings at the Inverary Manor Music Room from 9 – 11 am

Qi YINtegration is Saturday mornings online with a plethora of energy concepts intermixed with movement.  The next session begins March 23 for 4 weeks.

Movement Made Easy on Wednesdays at noon Atlantic online.  The next session is developing strength and flexibility for the gardening and yard activities.  Class is for 4 weeks starting on March 27.

CORAH at NSCC in Port Hawkesbury is on Fridays from 10 – 11.  There is a three week session, in-person, April 5-19.

Cape Breton University is offering a free session at the Judique Hall in conjunction with their dementia prevention study activities.  Class is in-person on Thursdays from 1 – 2 pm alternating weeks with online.

Currently, the best way to register for a class is to email your intention to Michelle – info@dancedebut.com.

Stay tuned for the new website coming at www.greenwellcenter.com. Registration will be automated there. We are just a few weeks away.

How have you considered releasing those emotional challenges when they might not be yours?!  Perhaps the power of movement can transform your day.

Also, don’t forget that it is World Tai Chi and Qi Gong Day on April 27th.  Stay tuned for our plans.
