Dance Classes for Inverness County this fall!

Dance Club 1 and 2:  A full season program involving Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Tap, Stepdance, and Song and Dance.  Dancers will need shorts or sweatpants, a t-shirt, socks and a flat pair of running shoes.  Based on the interest of the class, each dance style will be explored with a culmination of techniques that will lead to a group choreography for a Christmas presentation:  The Polar Express Twist on November 23rd at Strathspey Place Theatre, and a Spring Show on Friday, May 24th at Strathspey Place as well.  (Where floors allow, we will add Tap Shoes).  Three payments:  Fall $100, Winter $100, Spring $80 (registration is for the full year and payments must be received before a dancer will be able to join us on the dance floor).

Music in Motion is a full season program exploring the development of skills in tap, jazz, highland, ballet, hip hop and musical theatre through special exercises, themed activities and prop exploration.  The dancers will explore dance and music at their developmental level with the goal of building confidence, teamwork and curiosity for self exploration and practice.  Dancers will need shorts or sweatpants, a t-shirt, socks and a flat pair of running shoes.  Where floors allow, we will add tap shoes.   Based on the interest of the class, each dance style will be explored with a culmination of techniques that will lead to a group choreography for a Christmas presentation:  The Polar Express Twist on November 23rd at Strathspey Place Theatre, and a Spring Show on Friday, May 24th at Strathspey Place as well.  Three payments:  Fall $65, Winter $65 and Spring $50 (registration is for the full year and payments must be received before a dancer will be able to join us on the dance floor).

All classes begin the week of September 10th, there are no classes for Celtic Colours week, and will finish with dress rehearsals before the show.  The winter schedule begins January 7th and we continue into spring until show time.

Creative Movement for Preschoolers   3-5 yrs  12:30 – 1:15 pm  Belle Cote Community Hall – Fall Sept 12th – Nov 21st $55 for 10 weeks including winter show – Winter Jan 9th – March 20th $55 for 10 weeks – Spring April 10 – May 15 $45 including spring show.

Creative Movement for Toddlers  Parented for children from walking age to 3 yrs.  1:15 – 1:45 pm Belle Cote Community Hall – see schedule above (no shows for this group).
